Matt has been a golf turf manager for twenty seven years and has enjoyed more than thirty years in the golf business. Starting his superintendent experience in the Pacific Northwest managing a complete golf course reconstruction and grow-in. Matt is very proud of the work he and his team accomplished and the ten years he and his family enjoyed in the area.
Seeking to further his career, Matt relocated to Arizona and has steadily added to his many and varied experiences. From the Tom Weiskopf Signature Course at Hassayampa Golf Club in Prescott, to the Robert von Hagge designed Torreon Golf Club in Show Low, to the Regional Superintendent position in the Sonoran Desert of Tucson, Matt has consistently delivered excellent playing conditions no matter the turf variety, climate, or stature of facility.
Recently being named Director of Agronomy at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club brings Matt’s career full circle returning he and his family to the Pacific Northwest and he is eager to work with the team to provide the members and guests incredibly memorable experiences.
