Just one short year after it's unveiling, Ghost Creek hosted the 1993 NIKE TOUR Championship.  David Duval made a finish for the record books when he came back from a devastating double bogey on the par four ninth to win the tournament.  The following year, Mike Schuchart won the 1994 NIKE TOUR Championship with a solid 7-under performance.  Ghost Creek's #9 and #18 were rated the first and scond toughest holes on the '93 NIKE TOUR and in '94, #18 was rated the third most difficult hole on the tour.
