PGA Master Professional Jerry Mowlds has established one of the finest records in PGA history as a club professional /teacher/administrator. Among his many accolades, Mowlds was named “1984 PGA National Golf Professional of the Year;” twice was selected by Golf Digest as “Best Teaching Professional in Oregon;” and for more than 16 years has been named to Golf Magazine’s prestigious list of the “Top 100 Instructors in America.”
Christopher Smith,
Lead Golf Instructor
With experience teaching golf around the world, PGA Lead Instructor Christopher Smith’s students range from PGA TOUR players, top-ranked junior golfers, professional athletes and novice players. Smith competed on the European Challenge Tour before pursuing his passion for golf instruction. His numerous awards include being named by Golf Magazine among its list of the “Top 100 Instructors in America” and by Golf Digest as one of the top golf instructors in Oregon.
Programs
Junior Golf Ghost Creek
Classes will be held on Saturday and Sundays throughout the summer season beginning June 16th. Clinics will consist of hands on instruction using the latest in golf technology and teaching methods. Clinics will begin at 5 PM and juniors are encouraged to show at least 15 minutes early. Space is limited and all participants must pre-register to ensure availability. Please contact the Ghost Creek Golf Shop at (503) 647-9977 to sign up.
Cost: $20 per clinic or $100 for all 6 Clinics.

Join Us Every Saturday for a Golf Clinic Taught by PGA Director of Instruction Jerry Mowlds!
When: Saturdays; May through October from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Where: The Ghost Creek driving range
Join us every Saturday as PGA Director of Golf Jerry Mowlds hosts a golf clinic for players of all skill levels on the Ghost Creek driving range. Each week, Jerry will focus on a different aspect of the game in an intimate, small-group format with two hours of instruction offered for the price of a half-hour lesson!

Practice Facility
Golfers can perfect every aspect of their game on Portland's Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club’s 17-acre practice facility. Hone your skills on our driving range, or fine-tune your short game on our large putting green or chipping areas, complete with bunkers and contoured grass.
Custom club fitting is available in our Learning Center, using 3D motion capture to analyze the swing and diagnose key strengths and weaknesses.
